Rajashree Ghosh
Rajashree has been a board member since 2014. Her community and professional experience have centered on international social development.
Having worked with United Nations, aid agencies, civic bodies alike her policy recommendations have furthered gender advancements. At WSRC, Brandeis University where she currently works she taught an internship class and developed several programs to mentor students.
Locally, she served on the Ashland Cultural Council for two terms and has sincere appreciation for local artists and talent. She has been committed to working with diverse group of volunteers engaged in proactive hands-on service during Dragonfly Festival. As Arts!Ashland Alliance, Inc., continues to cultivate a vibrant arts ecosystem, Rajashree has an eye on the organization programs, strategic planning and community engagement. She continues to volunteer with other organizations in town and in her free time she likes to hike, travel and savor different cuisines.
Bonnie Mitchell
Bonnie Mitchell has lived in Ashland for over 40 years and is a founding member of Arts!Ashland Alliance, Inc. and currently serves on the Board of Directors as its Secretary. She was a member of the Ashland Cultural Council in 2009 and served as Council Chair from 2011-2015. She is currently in her 2nd term as a Trustee of the Library and is the incoming Chair of the Board.
She has worked full-time at Framingham State University Library since since 1982, Director of Library Services since 1998, and in 2017 became the Dean.
Always interested in promoting arts and culture, she was a founding member of the Framingham State University Arts and Humanities Council and served as Committee Chair for over 20 years. She continues to be a member of the newly formed campus Arts and Ideas Committee and the campus Committee for Diversity and Inclusion. She served for 3 years as a First Year Foundation program facilitator teaching life-long learning skills to freshmen and has been successful in writing several grants for library resources and activities that support new academic programs.
Bonnie is a 2009 graduate of the Metrowest Leadership Academy and in the 2010-2011 academic year participated in the year-long Massachusetts public higher education regional Collaborative Leadership Development Program.
Bonnie is a graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post campus and received a Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons College and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Framingham State University.
Steve Mitchell
Steve has been an Ashland resident since 1975 and has served on the Ashland Select Board since 2011. Prior to the SelectBoard, Steve also served on the Finance Committee and the CharterReview Committee. Besides his involvement in local government, Steve is also a founding member of two local non-profit organizations: Ashland HealthyHarvest, Inc., which operates the Ashland Farmers Market and Arts!Ashland Alliance, Inc., which sponsors and supports local cultural activities. Prior to retirement, Steve worked in the construction industry as a project manager specializing in electrical and lighting systems.
Brandi Kinsman
Brandi was thrilled to join the Arts! Ashland Alliance board in 2019. She has been an active community member in Ashland, focusing on economic development and community engagement. She was a former member of the Ashland Redevelopment Authority and was also part of the team that created and launched The Corner Spot in Ashland in 2017. Brandi was also elected to the Ashland Board of Selectmen in May 2019.
Professionally, Brandi has over 18 years of marketing, sales, and project management experience in financial services and is currently at Amundi Pioneer Asset Management in Boston. She and her husband Dave are busy with their 12-year old son, Nate, who loves to play soccer and the French Horn in the Ashland Middle School Band. Brandi is looking forward to helping increase arts and culture in Ashland as well as being a part of the Dragonfly Festival which she and her family have enjoyed for the last several years.
Andrea Green
Andrea Green, President and co-founder of Arts! Ashland Alliance, Inc., is a mixed media artist and retired elementary school art teacher. She holds a M.Ed. in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. She is a former Art Deptartment Coordinator for the Hudson Public Schools. Andrea taught art classes at the Danforth Museum School, The Hopkinton Center for the Arts, and at Starting Line Studio in Ashland. Her work is currently on display at Serendipity Gallery in Hudson, MA.
Andrea was the recipient of the 2017 Community Arts Educator of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Art Education Association. She was the former Chair of the Ashland Redevelopment Authority and the Ashland Downtown Collaborative. She was a former board member of the Ashland Cultural Council and the Hopkinton Center of the Arts.
Andrea strives to bring more arts and culture to the residents of Ashland.
Dale Buchanan
Born in Knoxville, TN, raised in Tucson, AZ, Dale Buchanan spent much of his time from the ninth grade to the present performing music, mostly in Hawaii, California, and Arizona. He has also been involved in television and movie production, and you may have even seen him wandering around in the background of various TV shows and movies. He moved to Ashland in 2011 and still performs music from coast to coast.
Tonya Yaskovich
Tonya is a software engineer by trade and a lifelong student of art at heart. Professionally she worked with various organizations such as s NASA, Department of Public Health, Oracle and Parametric Technologies. Tonya believes that everyone is an artist. She is passionate about bringing people together and discover their own creative strengths. As an Ashland resident Tonya have been serving the community in different capacities. She is an Art! Ashland Alliance, Inc. board member, is serving second term on Ashland Cultural Council and is a member of Ashland is United. Tonya is a commited volunteer at Dragonfly Festival and other local town events for example Ashland Day, Ashland Farmers Market.
